VisBoost (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use visboost.com and related services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account & Identifiers: name, email address, company name when you sign up or contact us.
• Usage & Technical Data: pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, referring URLs, and interactions with our marketing pages.
• Website analytics data: when you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregated page-view and performance data through Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless) and may record anonymized session interactions through Microsoft Clarity (session replay and heatmaps).
• Advertising & measurement data: when you accept marketing cookies, we and our advertising partners may collect online identifiers, device information, and page-view or conversion events through technologies such as Google's global site tag (gtag.js).
• Billing Information: payment details processed securely by our payment processor.
• Communications: messages sent through our contact or demo request forms.
• Google Search Console data (optional): if you connect Google Search Console, we receive data from Google APIs as described in Section 4 — Google Search Console & Google User Data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the VisBoost platform.
• To understand how visitors use our website and improve pages, navigation, and performance.
• To respond to inquiries and demo requests.
• To send product updates and marketing communications (with your consent or where permitted by law).
• To measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and understand whether ads lead to sign-ups or other conversions.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To display Google Search Console performance data and submit indexing requests you initiate in the dashboard.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies & Advertising Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience, analyse usage, and support marketing. You may decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner shown on your first visit, update your preferences on our Cookie Policy page, or use the cookie settings link in the site footer.

Google Ads measurement

VisBoost uses Google's global site tag (gtag.js) with Google Ads conversion ID AW-18165743878 on visboost.com. This technology may set or read cookies and collect information about your visit — such as pages viewed, actions taken (for example, starting a trial or submitting a form), browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address — to help us measure whether our ads are effective and to improve our marketing.

Google may also use this data under its own policies to provide aggregated reporting, detect fraud, and — where permitted — for ad personalization or remarketing. The Google Ads tag is always loaded with Google Consent Mode: advertising and analytics storage start as denied until you accept the relevant cookies in our consent banner (or Cookiebot, when enabled). You can withdraw consent at any time through cookie settings; doing so stops personalized advertising measurement via the tag on subsequent visits.

To opt out of Google's use of cookies for personalized advertising, visit Google Ads Settings. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on where applicable.

Vercel Web Analytics

When you accept analytics cookies, VisBoost uses Vercel Web Analytics on visboost.com. This service helps us measure page views, referrers, and Core Web Vitals so we can understand traffic and improve site performance. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not set a VisBoost first-party analytics cookie. Learn more in Vercel's Analytics privacy documentation.

Microsoft Clarity

When you accept analytics cookies, we also use Microsoft Clarity (project ID x74edkfwli) to capture session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity helps us see how visitors interact with pages — for example, where people scroll, click, or abandon a form — so we can fix usability issues. Clarity may set cookies such as _clck and _clsk to link page views into a session. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy terms. Vercel Web Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you grant analytics consent in our banner (or Cookiebot statistics consent, when enabled). You can withdraw consent at any time through cookie settings.

4. Google Search Console & Google User Data

VisBoost offers an optional integration with Google Search Console. You choose whether to connect a Google account or provide a Google Cloud service-account key. We access Google user data only to provide the features you request in the dashboard.

What we access

When you authorize the connection, VisBoost may request the following Google OAuth scopes:

• Search Console (read-only): to list properties you can access, read search performance data (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position), and run URL inspection when you request it.
• Indexing API: to submit URL indexing or update notifications only when you click an indexing action in VisBoost.
• Email (openid): to identify which Google account you connected and display it in your dashboard.

If you use the advanced service-account option instead of OAuth, you provide a service-account JSON key. VisBoost stores that key to call the same APIs on your behalf for the Search Console property you specify.

How we use Google user data

We use Google user data solely to:

• Display Search Console analytics inside your VisBoost workspace.
• Let you select and verify the Search Console property tied to your website.
• Submit indexing or inspection requests that you explicitly trigger.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the connection (for example, surfacing errors when sync fails).

We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, use it to build unrelated user profiles, or transfer it except as described in this policy.

How we store Google user data

Depending on how you connect, we may store:

• Your connected Google account email address.
• The Search Console property you select (for example, sc-domain:example.com).
• An encrypted OAuth refresh token, or a service-account JSON key if you choose that method.
• Cached search performance summaries (such as daily clicks, impressions, and top pages) from your last sync.
• Connection status, sync timestamps, and error messages needed to operate the integration.

OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Access tokens are short-lived and used only to call Google APIs when you sync data or run an indexing or inspection action.

Sharing of Google user data

We do not sell or rent Google user data. We share it only with infrastructure providers that host VisBoost (under confidentiality obligations) and with Google when making API calls you request. We do not disclose Google user data to other third parties except where required by law.

Google API Services User Data Policy

VisBoost's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we limit our use of Google user data to providing or improving the user-facing Search Console features in VisBoost, we do not use it for serving ads, and we do not allow humans to read it except when necessary to provide support, comply with law, or for security purposes (such as investigating abuse).

Your choices

• Disconnect: use Disconnect on the Google Search page in your dashboard to remove the stored connection and cached stats for that website.
• Change account: use Change Google account to sign in with a different Google account and re-select a property.
• Revoke access: you may revoke VisBoost's access at any time in your Google Account permissions. Revoking access does not automatically delete data already stored in VisBoost — use Disconnect or contact us if you want it removed.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, payment processing, and advertising measurement partners such as Google, Vercel, and Microsoft) under strict confidentiality agreements and only for the purposes described in this policy.

When you accept marketing cookies, information collected through Google's advertising tags may be shared with Google so we can measure conversions and campaign performance. Google processes this information as an independent controller under its own privacy terms.

6. California Residents — CCPA/CPRA Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

• Right to Know: request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
• Right to Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: we do not sell your personal information. If you are a California resident, you may opt out of the sharing of personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising by declining marketing cookies, enabling “Do Not Sell or Share” in cookie settings, or contacting us at the address below.
• Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. GDPR Rights (EU/EEA Residents)

• Right of Access: obtain a copy of your personal data.
• Right to Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
• Right to Erasure: request deletion (“right to be forgotten”).
• Right to Data Portability: receive your data in a portable format.
• Right to Object: object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing, including by withdrawing marketing cookie consent.
• Right to Restrict Processing: request we limit how we use your data.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days.

Google Search Console connection data (tokens, property selection, and cached stats) is retained while your connection remains active. When you disconnect, we delete the connection record for that website. If you revoke VisBoost in your Google Account without disconnecting in VisBoost, we may retain stale connection data until you disconnect or contact us to request deletion.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
